Anastasia Sarris

Passed peacefully in her home on March 17, 2017, two weeks before her 96th birthday. Daughter of Themistocles and Helen Souflas. Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She was a longtime resident of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, having moved there during World War II with her soldier-husband and two sons.

Anna was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Louis, her brother James Souflas, and niece Helen. She is survived by her 3 children, Manny (Alla), Tony (Joanne) and Vickie (Bill); also survived by 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild as well as many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call- Friday, March 24, 9:30-10:30 A.M. at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 7921 Old York Road, Elkins Park, PA 19027. Funeral Service, 10:30 A.M. Interment- thereafter at Lawnview Cemetary, Rockledge, PA.
