Christina Vasiliou

Christina Vasiliou (born Christina Papatheodorou) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at the age of 94 surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on May 28, 1922 in Laconia, Greece in the village of Vrondamas and arrived in the United States in 1967.

Beloved wife of the late Ioannis Vasiliou for 47 wonderful years.  Loving mother of Demosthenes Vasiliou (Kathlene) and Diana Poulimenos (Spiros).  Cherished grandmother of Nikki (Manolis), John (Renee), Dimitri (Casey), Chris, Electra, and great-grandchild Dianna.  Aunt of Chris Rorres (Billie) and Rena Baker (Jack) and their families.  Predeceased by siblings Panagiotitsa Rorres (Argyris), Lilian Papatheodorou, Theodoros Papatheodoros (Roula), great-grandchild Artemis, and nephew Peter Rorres.  She will forever be missed.  Friends and Family are invited to attend…

Viewing:  Sunday, March 26 at 6:30pm – 9:00pm and on Monday, March 27 at 10:00am – 11:00am at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, Upper Darby, PA

Funeral:  Monday, March 27 at 11:00am at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, Upper Darby, PA

Interment:  Fernwood Cemetery, Upper Darby, PA
