Dimos Halkias

Demosthenes Halkias "Dimos", age 89, passed away peacefully while surrounded by family on July 1, 2016. He is the son of Dimitrios Halkias and Irene Alexopoulos Halkias. He was predeceased by his brother, Peter Halkias and is survived by siblings: Paraskevi (Parris) Halkias, Nicholas Halkias, and Margaret Halkias Riggins as well as several nephews and nieces. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2016, at the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church of Elkins Park, 229 Powell Ln, Upper Darby, PA Funeral at 11am .  Interment Fernwood Cemetery.
