Georgian Dardovitch

Georgian Dardovitch passed away peacefully on December 3, 2017. 94 Years Old.  She was the beloved wife of the late Dimitri.  Loving mother of Ted (Irene), and Pete.  Devoted Yiayia of Christina (David) and Alexis (Sam) and proud great grandmother of Melina, Sophia, and Zoey. She is preceded in death by her son Nicholas. She is also survived by her sister Florence.

Georgian was born in Thessalonkie, Greece. She was a lifelong member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church even before the church moved from West Philadelphia.  Her and Dimitri’s wedding was the first to take place in the congregation.  Being very involved with all the churches activities, she would always be seen helping out at the festivals and other events as well as being a past president of the Philoptochos Society.  Georgian was also a member of the Macedonian Society as well as a Daughter of Penelope. 

Her funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday, December 11th at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church.  Friends and family are welcome to attend her viewing one hour prior to the service in the church. Her interment will be at Fernwood Cemetery.
