Konstantinos "Dino" Andreadis, 75, of Delaware County, Insurance agent, entrepreneur and real-estate broker, passed away on TuesdayOctober 11th, surrounded by loved ones.

A resident of Delaware County for most his life, Dino was known to many by his traditional ways and means. Always a gentleman, he brought laughter and positive energy into every room he walked into.Sincerity, courage and unselfishness are just some of the virtues that Dino set as the foundation on the course of his life.

Born in Greece in the midst of World War II, Dino was born during a time of unrest for not only his parents but for the entire country. From the time he was a young child, Dino's father instilled in him a hard work ethic, determination and dedication that was evident in everything he did. From the time he was a child, Dino lived his life by the words, "Life is to give, and not receive."

After coming to America at a young age, Dino and his family settled in Chester, PA where in a foreign land and speaking a foreign language he quickly found work for the livelihood of his family. Once his father was settled in Chester, Dino headed out to California with his brother where he had the opportunity to obtain an education from Beverly Hills High School. After his father was injured on the job and could not work, Dino returned back to Chester to continue his eduction while working to support his parents and siblings. Once home, Dino worked with conviction to make sure his older sister and her family obtained citizenship in the United States. He was not only an Uncle to her 3 boys, but became an immense presence in raising them. "He was the leader of the household, a powerhouse of a man, always setting the pace for us and encouraging us to keep up." his nephew recalls.

He spent some time working at The Boeing Company, where he enjoyed using his hands building helicopters. In 1967, he began what would become an extraordinary successful 46 year career in the insurance industry as an agent with Nationwide Insurance. Known for his sharp mind and business acumen, he led the industry as one of the top producers in the state of Pennsylvania in all lines of insurance. His success with Nationwide was recognized year after year as he and his family were invited to Nationwide Insurance Award Recognition Conferences all over the country. When it came to his work, he always kept his mind sharp and he exuded greatness. Greatness that can be achieved only if we expect it from ourselves.

Dino still found time to pursue some of his favorite hobbies including real-estate, traveling with his family, racquetball, learning to play the guitar, tennis and participating in the annual 10K runs down the shore. His joy was staying active at all times. Spending time with his family in Wildwood Crest and Stone Harbor, he loved going for long bike rides in the morning with his wife as well as time in the water at the beach.

Dino not only touched the lives of many people, but through his generosity, this simple man bettered the lives of many people, even complete strangers. Through his real-estate ventures alone, he provided homes for less fortunate families and still does to this day. His positive attitude and mind over matter outlook on life was a blessing to be around.

Despite his recent medical diagnosis, Dino never let that stop him from continuing to do everything that he loved, which was mostly doing for others. Throughout it all, Dino was a humble man, never speaking of himself or his accomplishments. He never spoke of his problems, but only his joys. Nothing could steal his joy. Dino was a humble man, whose memory will be eternal.

"In the end, we only regret the chances we didn't take, the relationships we were afraid to have, and the decisions we waited too long to make." -K. Andreadis
