William John Winans

William John Winans II. Passed away March 2nd, 2015 after a long fight with cancer.  He was a dedicated family man. His family was always his first priority. He was always there for them when they needed him. He loved contributing to the community, whether it was helping out a neighbor, coaching his children’s sports teams, hosting the family parties, or rooting for the Flyers. He enjoyed Golf, fishing and adventure in general.  He was an excellent craftsman both in his professional career and his many hobbies and a total perfectionist. He was a Navy Veteran. 

He is survived by his wife Vava, Children: Bill, Mike, and Amanda. Father: Bill (Rita). Brothers: David (Eileen) and Frank (Diana), Kevin, John, and sister: Karen, and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Dogs: Tessa and Hercules. Predeceased by his mother Barbara.

His funeral service will be 11am Monday at The First Presbyterian Church , 356 Summit Rd, Springfield, PA 19064.  Viewing 9am to 11am in the church.  In lieu of flowers, the family humbly requests that donations be made to assist in covering final expenses.
