Zabelle Acabee Nedurian Zartarian lived 100 loving and purposeful years before gradually, over 2 days, slipping from earth to heaven on July 4, 2017 with her family at her side.
She is survived by her sister Grace Nedurian Haledjiian, brother Vram Nedurian Jr. “Ned”, daughters Paulette Whitekettle & husband Rich and Peg Kupelian &husband Ted, 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Her beloved daughter Pam Kitabjian preceded her into the arms of God.
Zabelle was an RN and especially enjoyed working in the newborn nursery. After graduating from Lankenau Hospital she traveled by bus to California, Florida, and New York working as a nurse before marrying her love, Paul. Any time a friend was in the hospital she gifted them with private duty nursing.
She devoted her time to St Sahag & St Mesrob Armenian Church and for many years helped in the Sunday School.
All who knew her remember her as cheerful, kind, affectionate, spry, and appreciative. She had a song for every occasion.
The Bible verse that defined her life is Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”
