Ken Chin

Ken Chin passed away on April 23, 2024, in Huntingdon Valley, PA at the age of 57, surrounded
by family and friends.

Ken is survived by Maria(wife) and 2 sons Michael and Nicholas, Frank (Patty) of PA, David
(Mai) of FL, and Lily of PA; devoted Uncle of Sophia, Alex, Matthew, and Courtney. He is
preceded in death by his beloved mother Daisy Chin, father Hone Sue Chin, and niece Sarah. He
is survived by numerous family and friends.

Ken was born in Rangoon, Burma on October 18, 1966 and immigrated to the US as a young
child. When he first immigrated to the US, he lived in Cleveland, OH and then moved to
Philadelphia, PA(Chinatown) where he spent part of his childhood and then moved to the
Northeast section of Philadelphia. For his higher education, he attended schools in GA and TX.
After receiving his Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine, he returned to the Philadelphia area to
open up 2 acupuncture offices. He loved his profession and helping his patients.

Ken enjoyed spending time with his family and friends which included taking vacations to the
beach, and going to the family home in Greece. He loved teaching his sons how to fix cars,
showing his sons how to fish, and other outdoor activities.

Ken cherished his family above everything else. He was a devoted husband and father, always
offering unwavering support, guidance, and unconditional love. His presence brightened the lives
of his loved ones, and his memory will continue to be a source of comfort and strength in the
days ahead.

Family and friends are invited to view Tuesaday April 30, 2024 from 10-11am at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 7921 Old York Rd., Elkins Park, PA 19027.  His funeral service will begin promptly at 11am.  Interment to follow in Lawnview Cemetery, Rockledge, PA.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the church.
