Angelina Kardaras passed away on October 21, 2018. She was born in 1931 in Wilke Barre Pa to Peter and Catherine Kardaras for whom she had a lifelong devotion. Being a hard worker she achieved a degree from business school which lead her to her over 30 year career at General Motors. Eventually settling in Upper Darby, Pa she was an active and devoted member of her beloved St. Demetrios Church. There she was active in the Philoptochos and the choir where she always dazzled with her rich alto voice. She was a caring cat lover always taking care of strays and contributing to numerous animal charities.
She is survived by Niece Cathy (Joseph) and Eve (Warren). Great Aunt of Lauren, Katie, Tara, Kevin, and Kayla. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Betty (Nicholas) and Paul.
Friends and family are invited to her viewing on Tuesday, 10-30-18, at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox church and are welcome to stay fro her funeral service at 11am. Interment will be at Fernwood Cemetery following the Funeral service.
