Armen was born to father, Arshak Selverian, born in Arabkir, Turkey and mother, Giuli Rose (Matevosian) Selverian, born in Yozgat, Turkey on March 23, 1950, in Yerevan, Armenia. After graduating high school, Armen went to Erevan Pharmaceutical College, where he graduated as a Pharmacist Technician. Thereafter, he worked at a pharmacy as the assistant manager, until immigrating to the United States with his family in 1977. Armen settled in Havertown, Pennsylvania where he started his new life and new career as a jeweler in downtown Philadelphia. In 1982 Armen opened his own jewelry business, on Jewelers Row. After retiring from the jewelry business in 2002, Armen went on to start his own limousine service in the Philadelphia Tri-State Area, which he owned and operated until his death.
Armen was a very generous and kind man. He made many friends over the 69 years of his life. His generosity and helpfulness knew no bounds. His personality was one in a million and anyone who got to know him, loved him.
Armen was the loving father of Angelika Arshakone Selverian and Armen Tommy Selverian. Dearest younger brother of Hasmik Selverian and caring older brother of Gegham Selverianand brother-in-law of Marine Selverian. Loving uncle to Voltaire Sassoun Selverian (Anna) and Anna Ani Selverian; great-uncle to David Gagik Selverian and Laura Sophia Selverian.
He was taken from his family too soon and he will be sorely missed.
