Constantine Alpohoritis Obituary

Constantine N. Alpohoritis passed away peacefully on October 25th, 2019 with his family by his side. He was born and raised on Drosia, Patra, Greece to Nikolaou and Victoria Alpohoritis. He was the youngest of six children. (Chrisantho, Solon, Georgia, Dimitri and Andrianna)

After fulfilling his duty and serving in the Greek army Constantine spent several years working as a stone mason. Deciding he wanted more for his future and not afraid of a challenge he left his homeland and came to the United States in 1971. From the ground up he built and ran several successful businesses.

Constantine is survived by his wife Katerina and his three children; Solon, Victoria (Christos) Nares, Maria (Christopher) Morris. He dedicated his life to providing the best for his family. He was a great example of what hard work and determination could achieve. His love and devotion for his wife Katerina was endless and a true testament to their love. However, as strong as a man Constantine was, he had a gentle heart, and no one could make him smile more than his six grandchildren; Apostoli, AiKaterina, Niovi, Stella, Eleni and Elizabeth, they were his pride and joy.

Friends and family are welcome to attend his viewing from 10am to 11am, Tuesday, October 29th at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of St. George, 256 S. 8th St. Philadelphia, PA. His funeral service will follow at 11am in the church – interment at Lawnview Cemetary. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the church.
