Elizabeth Onassis

Elizabeth Onassis (née Anderson) beloved wife of the late John A. Onassis, mother of Tina F. Onassis and doting Yiayia of Yianni Onassis entered into eternal rest, having never awakened from her dreams on Friday, June 6, 2019.

Elizabeth is pre-deceased by her husband whom she lived with all her heart, John A Onassis, her parents Alexander and Anastasia Anderson, Brothers Andy, Bill & Zelenograd and her sister-in-laws Helen B, Helen Z and Rosalie, along with many other relatives and friends.

Left to cherish and honor her tender memory, Elizabeth leaves behind her daughter Tina whom she lived with and who cared for her every need for the past 5 years, her grandson Yianni, her nephews-Al a/k/a Andy, John, Bill, Pete, Alex and Jim Anderson , their wives – Marilyn, Debbie, Maryann, Sue, Kitty and Joann, their children-Michael, Greg, Dave, Nicole, Paul, Anna, Tommy, Laura, Molly, Jim, Joy, Jeff and Jacqui and their spouses and children, along with cousins, koumbari, other relatives and friends.

Betty’s funeral will take place this Tuesday at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Elkins Park. Viewing at 10 am. Funeral at 11:00 am, interment at Fernwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please make donations to Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church Elkins Park in Betty’s (Elizabeth’s) name.
