Mary Ibrahim

Mary Ibrahim (Apostolou), 36, a beloved resident of Havertown, PA passed away on June 12, 2019 surrounded by loved ones. Mary is survived by her husband Sam Ibrahim, their two daughters, Mia 9, and Sophia 7; parents Christos and Anna (Stathis) Apostolou; brother Konstantinos (Elizabeth) Apostolou; God son Alexander Apostolou; God daughter Leila Refaey and a large close knit family.

Mary was born on October 19, 1982 in Philadelphia, PA. On July 29, 2001 she married Sam and they raised two daughters. Mary was an amazing mother who passed on her love of great food and an active lifestyle to her two daughters. Even before her children and her cancer diagnosis, she focused on healthy living. Wanting to share this love and care for others outside of her family lead her to pursue a career in nursing. Unfortunately, her illness did not allow her to see this through, but she never stopped taking care of everyone around her even in her final days.

Calling hours will be held Saturday, June 15, 2019 from 11:30 – 12:15 at St Luke’s Greek Orthodox Church, 35 N. Malin Rd, Broomall PA 19008. Funeral service to follow at 12:30. Interment following funeral service at Glenwood Memorial Gardens 2321 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008.
