Yeprim Degirmenci

Yeprim Degirmenci entered eternal rest February 3, 2019 at his home in Broomall surrounded by his loving family.  Born in Istanbul Turkey in 1945, he moved his family to the United States to provide a better life for them. Always a hard worker he had a successful career as a jeweler.   Always putting his family first he entrusted his sons with the sense of love and family that drove him to be a better person. Being a true father, everything he did was a lesson to his sons on how to be a good person, Man, husband and father.  His love continued on to his grandchildren, holding them amongst his most cherished blessings.   A guiding force for anyone, his impact on people was immense.  His family is always hearing stories of how he influenced others even with a single conversation. Still proud of his heritage he was deeply involved with the Armenian community in all aspects. His legacy will live on in everyone he has touched.  

He is survived by his wife Silva, sons Sarkis (Tamar) and Aris,  Grandchildren Tais and Alec. Also survived by brothers Samuel and Mikail Dergirmenci and the Barsamian, Arslan and Ferman families.

His funeral service will be 11am Wednesday at St. Sahag and St. Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church 630 Clothier Rd. Wynnewood, Pa 19096.  Viewing one hour prior to service in the church.  Interment, St. Peter and St. Paul Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the church or Hovnanian School 817 river Rd. New Milford, NJ 07646.
