1953 – 2026
Aleksandr Matevosyan passed away peacefully at the age of 72 at his home in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Lyudmila, his daughter Kristina, and his son Armen. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren:Armen, Sophia, and Tigran, who brought him great joy.
In his youth, Aleksandr was a boxer, he was also a firefighter, he served in the navy as a sailor. Later in life, he dedicated 34 years of his life to working with cabinetry.
Aleksandr had a deep interest in world politics and the pursuit of knowledge. He especially enjoyed engaging in political debate and studying herbal medicine, passions he shared with those around him.
Aleksandr will be remembered as a very kind person and a true gentleman whose warmth and generosity touched everyone who knew him.
Family and friends are invited to view from 11am - 12 noon Saturday, March 7th, 2026, at St. Sahag & St. Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church 630 Clothier Road, Wynnewood, PA 19096. His funeral service will begin promptly at noon. Interment at a later date.
