Alexandra Costalas, beloved wife of Gus Costalas, after 85 beautiful years, passed away on February 26th, 2021. Alexandra was born November 28, 1935 to the late Michael and Maria Kirifides and sister to Sue Diamanty and Larry Kirifides. She was the mother of both Gina (Jerry) Cohn and John (Billi) Costalas, and had four wonderful grandchildren- Christina and Jonathan Cohn and Dean and Kasandra Costalas.
Alex was loved and known for many things, namely her passion, shown while cheering for the Eagles every Sunday or playing bingo and board games with her friends and family; her thoughtfulness, as she was known for never forgetting to call on everyone’s birthday and baking their favorite desserts when visiting; as well as her unwavering commitment to both her dear friends and family. She never failed to let you know when she was happy, and those who were not fortunate enough to know her well, often had their day brightened when they experienced her contagious and gleeful laughter. She was always so incredibly proud of the two children she raised and all of her grandchildren she was able to watch grow up. A beautiful woman, inside and out, Alex will be missed greatly but loved and remembered forever.
