Angela Pappas

Angela Pappas passed away on April 27th, 2025. Angie was born in Megara, Greece on January 5th, 1931. She migrated to the United States with her family at age 6 and settled in West Philadelphia. When she met her husband Chris, they moved to Drexel Hill where they started their family. During this time Angie enjoyed her work as an administrative assistant, but where she found the most joy in life was caring for her four children. Later in life, she was blessed with 7 grandchildren who lovingly referred to her as “yia-yia”. She spent her final years living with her daughter Helene “Eleni” and her family, shopping the QVC channel and enjoying her fill of salted caramel ice cream.

She was preceded in death by her husband Chris. Angie is survived by her children, Spero (Debbie), Jerry (Bonnie), Helene (Tom) Maccario and Leah (and the late Bob) Koncir.  She is also survived by her grandchildren Erica, Angelica, Amalia, Deena, Stephanie, Christiana and Frankie.”
