Stephanie Lyell passed away on the morning of November 21st with her daughter Helen by her side at her home in Broomall, PA.
Stephanie was born on January 15, 1930 in Shamokin, PA to Mary and Stephen Xenos. The youngest of two siblings Diamond and Helen (Both Deceased).
Her fondest memories were spent married to her late husband Colonel William Lyell. Retiring to Gatesville Texas where she spent the majority of her time painting, crafting and enjoying the wildlife.
Married to an accomplished guitarist, At the age of 50, Stephanie learned to play the fiddle accompanying her husband all across the country to compete in Fiddle contests gaining such achievements as performing at the Grand Ole Opry.
Stephanie will always be remembered by her imagination, creativity, humor, and tenacity.
Survived by her Daughter, Helen Xenos. Grandson Sean Xenos (Samantha), and her great grandson Maxwell Lyell Xenos.
Family and friends are welcome to attend her visitation from 10am to 11am Thursday, 12-2-2021, at Vraim Funeral Home, Inc. 66 S. State Rd, Upper Darby, Pa 19082. Her funeral service will take place at 11am. Her interment will follow at St. Peter & St, Paul cemetery.
