Christos G. Pappas

Christos G. Pappas, beloved husband of Demetra Pappas, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021, surrounded by his family at the age of 88.  He was the devoted father of Mary Moumas, Aicaterine Angelos,  Giannoula Pappas-Paras.  He was the loving grandfather of Aristotel Moumas, Maria Trahanas, Demetra Moumas, Christina Angelos, Jonathan Paras, and Stephanie Paras. Christos was also great grandfather to Georgia Trahanas. 

Christos was born in Demati, Ioannina, Greece in 1933. At the age of 18, he made his way to America.  He was a hard worker who not only provided for his family but built a legacy for generations.  He was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Friends and family are welcome to attend his viewing form 10am to 11am Wednesday Morning at The Greek Orthodox Cathedral of St. George. 256 S. 8th St. Phila., Pa.  His funeral Service will take palace at 11am in the church.  Interment will follow at West Laurel Hill Cemetery.
