Obituary

Christos (Chris) Giannakarios passed away suddenly on July 11, 2023. Born in Sydney, Australia he immigrated to the Philadelphia area in 1975 with his parents and siblings.  He was a member of the Greek community in the Media area and frequented the many Greek communities in the area. Son of the late Harry Giannakarios. He is survived by his mother Dimitra, brother Bill, (Karen) niece Ally, nephew Nicolas, sister Dora, nephews Zachary and Harrison.

Friends and family are welcome to attend his viewing from 10am-11:00am July 14, 2023 at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 30 E Forge Rd, Media, PA 19063. Funeral services are followed at 11:00am. He will be laid to rest next to his beloved father at Arlington Cemetery, 2900 State Rd, Drexel Hill, PA 19026.
