Diane Carpinelli

Our hearts are broken as we mourn the loss of our beloved sister, aunt, and friend. Diane, 55 passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 8th surrounded by her family. Her bright light and big heart left us too soon, but we will remember her warmth, love, generosity, and laughter.

Born in Upper Darby, PA on August 6, 1967, Diane was the daughter of John and Bernadine Fanelli, who preceded her in death along with her husband, Henry Carpinelli. Diane graduated from Chichester High School in 1986 and later attended Hussian College in Philadelphia, earning a degree in the Arts.  Diane’s passion was drawing, gardening, making people feel at home with her beautiful smile and of course her beloved animals.  She was also a loving and supportive aunt to her many nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her siblings and their spouses: John (Kathy) Fanelli, Bernadette (George) Rule, Steve (Michelle) Fanelli, David (Annette) Fanelli, Michael Fanelli, Carmella (Michael) Lombardi, Rosemarie Bramble, Mark (Jackie) Fanelli, Joseph (Dana) Fanelli, Colleen (Brent) Sanders and Joanne Kluska. She was loved by her many nieces and nephews. She trusts her best friend, Cyndi Sutton to care for her 2 dogs, Bear and Jasper.

Her visitation will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, September 13th at SS. Simon and Jude Parish, 8 Cavanaugh Ct, West Chester, PA  19382. Funeral Mass to follow at 11.  Interment at St. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
