1954-2021
Donna (Donnie) DeStefano passed away after a two-month, hard fought battle with Covid-19 at the age of 66. She was born in Drexel Hill, Pa along with her brothers and sister and attended Upper Darby High School ('72). She was an amazing and extremely hard-working woman, totally committed to her four children and absolutely adored her seven grandchildren. They were her world. Donnie also cherished her extended family and so looked forward to time spent together, particularly those large, loud gatherings filled with jokes and laughter. Her smile and distinct top-of-the-room laugh will be missed. Donnie also thought the world of her renewed relationships with old classmates and friends. She was a dedicated member and organizer of her high school class reunion committee and treasured their regular dinners and functions. Donnie loved adding to her abundant collection of house plants (often referred to as her eighth grandchild), was an avid fan of classical and western movies (especially John Wayne), and would frequently be listening to her beloved Barbara Streisand. Her loving and caring spirit will always be with us.
Donnie is predeceased by her parents, Albert DeStefano and Doris (nee Mark), and is survived by her children, Renee Martinson, Sandra Lamb (Brian), Ric Martinson (Stephanie) and Jessica Martinson as well as her seven grandchildren Taylor (26), Hannah (18), Sara (14), Michael (13), Sienna (13), Zoe (10) and Eric (10).
