Eleftherios Tsioulfaidis

March 25, 1943- July 11, 2022 (Age 79)

Eleftherios Tsioulfaidis passed away peacefully in his home on July 11, 2022.  He was born on March 25, 1943, the youngest of 5 siblings in Veria, Greece to the late Kostantides and Alexa Tsioulfaidis.  He was the beloved husband of the late Georgia Tsioulfaidis, father of 2 sons, Chris and Alex Tsioulfaidis, and the grandfather of Arerianna Bovell-Tsioulfaidis.

Emigrating to the United States in 1969 with his wife, Eleftherios had a love for entrepreneurship, taking pride in owning many businesses throughout the years.  He also enjoyed displaying his passion of cooking and carpentry to friends and family, and also shared his time to help the elderly in need of home improvements. His dry sense of humor and quick wit was enjoyed by many. 

Serving as Vice President of the Pontian Society, Philadelphia Men’s Chapter in 1992, Eleftherios followed Greek current events and attended numerous dinners and functions to support certain movements and represent his belief.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing at 9 AM on Monday, July 18, 2022 followed by the 10 AM funeral service at St Sophia Greek Orthodox Church located at 900 South Trooper Road, Jeffersonville, PA 19403.  Interment will follow the funeral at Arlington Cemetery in Upper Darby, PA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to be made in Eleftherios’s memory to St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church.
