Ester Berberian

ESTER BERBERIAN (nee: Galoustian) passed away peacefully at her home on June 4, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Aleppo, Syria to Vartan and Nemzouhi (Miranshahian) Galoustian on 3/16/1927. She was beloved wife of late Arakel Berberian, loving mother of Lucy, Vardan and Sofia. She leaves behind relatives in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, California, Alaska, Nevada, Armenia, France and Netherlands.

In 1946 Ester and her mother immigrated to Yerevan, Armenia and began a new life. In 1949 she married Arakel Berberian and formed her loving family. In addition to caring for her family, she worked as a Textile Technician for "Aragatz" Manufacturing Company for 27 years.

After living an absolutely wonderful life in Yerevan, in January, 1974 the family immigrated to the United States to be with her extended family and relatives.

Ester was an extraordinary woman who filled everyone's heart unconditionally with her very special love and we feel immeasurably blessed to have been touched by her everlasting spirit.

Her viewing will be held on Thursday, June 9, form 10:00 am to 11am at Vraim Funeral Home, 66 South State Rd, Upper Darby, Pa 19082. Her graveside funeral service will follow at 11am at Arlington Cemetery in Drexel Hill, Pa 19026.
