Of Media PA, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2023 at the age of 95.  Beloved wife of the late Louis M. Prifti, she was predeceased by her parents Efthimy and Evridiqi Demas and her two brothers William and Peter Demas.  She is survived by her son Michael Prifti (Dale) and daughter Joanne (Craig), four grandchildren (Christine (Mat), Adam, Stephen, and Ben) and one great-grandson (Noah).  Vangie was a 1950 graduate of the University Of Connecticut School Of Pharmacy, leaving that profession to become a homemaker and mother in Northern Virginia.  She returned to the workforce, first volunteering as a kindergarten aide later rising to administrative assistant to the Principal of the Jackson Center, a school serving disabled students in Arlington, VA.  She was a skilled seamstress, an avid gardener, devoted to a variety of craft projects, and a marvelous party hostess, with a sharp sense of humor and a knack of striking remarkable conversations upon first acquaintance.  Family and friends are invited to view from 10am-10:30am Monday May 22, 2023 at St. John Chrysostom Albanian Orthodox Church, 237 N 17th Street, Philadelphia PA, 19103.  Funeral service to begin promptly at 10:30am. Internment to follow in Fernwood Cemetery, Lansdowne, PA.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her memory may be made to the church.
