Frederick (Bud) Yoos, age 90 passed away peacefully at his home in Marple Township on November 2, 2021
Born January 10, 1931 in Philadelphia, He attended Fork Union Military Academy, Upper Darby High
School and graduated from Pennsylvania Military College( PMC).
He began his employment at the Yoos family Insurance Agency in Drexel Hill, Pa. in 1956 and worked there along with his daughters till his passing. He loved to
play tennis with his longtime friends of 75 years, and was an ardent Phillies and Eagles fan. He was known for his sense of humor and especially his love of practical jokes.
Bud was the son of the late Frederick Yoos, Jr. and Frances (Allen) Yoos, and the devoted husband of the late Barbara (Jones) Yoos. Bud married Barbara in April of 1954, They were inseparable for 61 years until Barbara's death on November 2nd 2015. As fate would have it Barbara and Bud passed on the same date. Barbara was deeply missed by her family and friends, but no one missed her more than Bud. In addition to Barbara , he was predeceased by his grandson Kyle Downs and his son-in-law Michael Chermol.
He is survived by his six children, Vicki Maze (Bob); Rick Yoos (Charl);
Brad Yoos; Valeri Chermol; Barbara Downs (Scott); Kimberly Bucco (Paul)
along with 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Memorial Contributions in his memory can be made to the St. Jude Children's
