Gail R. Selner

Gail Selner of Media, PA. from Riddle Village died Oct.19, 2018. Born in Hartford Ct. She was the daughter of John and Georgia Rourke.  Mrs. Selner had a very diversified nursing career over 38 years in Hartford CT.  She was a dedicated member of St. Ann’s Church in Avon, CT.  and also a member of Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church in Pawley’s Island, S.C.  She was a member of both women clubs, garden clubs and a Eucharistic Minister in both churches.  She made friends easily especially in St. Andrew’s Church in Drexel Hill, Pa., Riddle Village Media, PA. and all the different places she lived. Her faith, family and friends were very important to her throughout her life and she will be missed greatly by all of her friends and family.

She was preceded by her husbands.

Surviving her are her daughter Shelley Roberts and her husband Frank Havnoonian of Drexel Hill, PA., ; stepsons Raymond Solomson (wife) Darlene of Parrish, FL., Peter Solomson and (wife) Christine Feeney of Saratoga, FL., Stephen Solomson of Glastonbury, CT., Richard Solomson of Orlando, FL., and Michael Solomson and (wife) Cindy of Simsbury, CT., Special  cousins John R Hoye and (wife) Judy Hoye of Fort Myers, FL.,; 9 grandchildren Charity Robinson, Tracey Neumuth, Tamara Solomson, RJ Solomson , Kate Nichols, Daniel Solomson, Stephen Solomson, Amy Solomson, Kyle  Solomson, and 6 great grandchildren Sydney, Grace, Jude Neumuth, Ava, Trevor Robinson, and Liam Solomson. A memorial Mass will be held at St. Ann’s Church in Avon CT.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to be made to St. Andrew Church, 3500 School Lane, Drexel Hill, PA. 19026.
