George Antonogiannis, beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2024, at the age of 80. Born on September 10, 1944, in Livadero, Greece, George’s life was a testament to resilience, dedication, and boundless love for his family.
George spent his early years in Greece, where he developed a skill and passion for tailoring. This talent and his determination led him to America, where he pursued new opportunities with the courage and ambition that would define his life. He went on to establish the family business with his wife Androniki and at a young age Niko joined their venture at Keystone Pizza in Upper Darby, PA, which became a cherished community fixture.
He was married to the love of his life, the late Androniki Antonogiannis, for over fifty years. Together, they created a life rich in love and dedication to each other. He is survived by his son Nikolaos, his daughter-in-law Paris, and his two grandchildren, Nika and Gio, who were the light of his life. George adored his grandchildren deeply and cherished every moment with them, their laughter and joy bringing him boundless happiness.
George will be remembered for his infectious smile, generous spirit, and the love he shared with all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and warmth that will continue to inspire those he touched. He will be dearly missed and forever cherished.
Services to honor George’s life will be held St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 229 Powell Ln, Upper Darby, PA 19082 on Thursday, November 7th, 2024. Viewing from 10am – 11am, Funeral from 11am – 12pm followed by his burial at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, 1600 S Sproul Rd, Springfield, PA 19064
