George Geromichalos (57), of Broomall, formerly of Upper Darby passed away on April 19th, 2024. Born in Skotina, Greece, he is survived by his parents, Anastasios and Eleni, his loving wife Kunthy (Tee) Geromichalos (Soeun), his brother Dan (Connie), and his niece and nephew, Samantha and Tommy.
George’s passion was his trade as a mechanic. He was an extremely hard worker and spent most of his life working on and enjoying cars and mechanics. He loved understanding how things worked and had a natural talent for fixing things. His favorite cars were muscle cars and classics and he loved traveling near and far to attend car shows and flea markets. You could almost always find him up at his garage, George’s Classic Automotive, under the hood of a car and engaging in good conversation with his customers who often became friends.
George had strong faith and a passion for life. He loved being outside, fishing, and long drives, even as far as the Florida keys with his loving wife Tee by his side.
George wasn’t just an honest mechanic, he was an honest man. He was loyal to a fault, reliable and wise. He was loved greatly by all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Thursday April 25, at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church (229 Powell Lane, Upper Darby) from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. His funeral service will be held at 12:00 in the church. His internment will follow at St. Peter and Paul cemetery.
