Helen L. Williams

Helen L Williams, (nee deAzuero), 86, of Springfield, PA passed away peacefully on November 29, 2018.  Born in Johnstown, PA she grew up on her Grandmother’s farm before moving to West Philadelphia, where she met and married her Husband of 60 years.  

Helen had an infectious smile and positive outlook that inspired others during good times and uplifted them during difficult ones. She was her family’s binding force and font of strength. She loved us all very much, we fulfilled her life as much as she did ours

She has been a large part of her church for many years.  She loved bartering at yard sales, crocheting, reading, going to the movies, avid bowler, playing cards, going to the Swarthmore Players Club for shows, traveling, cooking and baking.  She enjoyed Wednesday lunches with friends and spending time with family.  She loved going to her beach house in Surf City, NJ and watching her Great Grandchildren play at the bay beach.  

She is predeceased by her husband, Ernie and 2 brothers Robert and Alex.  Survivors:  Sons Kevin Williams (Patty), Ernest D. Williams III, Louis Williams; Grandchildren Samantha Albany (Tommy), Elliot Williams (Colleen) and Sabrina Williams; 4 Great-Grandchildren Jake, Travis, Piper and Zachary;  also sister-in-law Jeanette deAzuero; many nieces and nephews.  

Visitation Monday December 3 10am-11am at Tree of Life Church 933 Baltimore Pike, Springfield, PA 19064.  Funeral Service at 11am.
