Jerry Lynn Clark

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jerry Lynn Clark of Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania on September 7, 2024.

Jerry was born on November 8, 1940, to the late Walter Lynn Clark and late Margaret Naomi Sluss in Canton, Ohio.  Jerry’s extraordinary intelligence and curiosity was evident from a young age, as evidenced by a minor explosion in a science lab.  He spent countless hours reading science books and magazines, so much so that he could explain even the most complicated scientific theories to the layman.  His unparalleled ability to answer every question on Jeopardy was truly impressive.  He was a man of many skills and hobbies, to include photography, having won several competitions over the years, as well as sailing. More recently, his favored past times included travelling to relaxing beaches with his wife, Debra.  He was also a skilled craftsman, and his homemade furniture will be cherished for generations to come.  Jerry will be greatly missed and forever remembered in our hearts.   

Jerry was the beloved husband of Debra Kay Clark and loving father to Jared and his wife Stacy, and beloved stepfather to Felicia, her husband Russell, and Carol and her husband David. Jerry was also survived by son Judd and daughter Samantha.        

Last year, Jerry and Debra adopted their pup, Archer, from Last Chance Ranch Animal Rescue. Over the last year, Archer was always by Jerry’s side, having quickly changed Jerry’s mind from “no pets” to “why didn’t we get a dog sooner?”.
