Jack (John) E. Healy
Of Broomall – Jack loved music, playing guitar and making cheesesteaks, especially for those in mourning.
He was an avid concertgoer and traveled all over to see his favorite performances live. He loved his family and his grandchildren brought him so much joy. Jack was very thoughtful and would do anything for anyone. He passed away suddenly in his Broomall home on April 2, 2022.
Jack was born February 9, 1954, to Margaret ‘Peg’ Diffenbach and Lawrence Healy in the city of West Philadelphia. He was the second of 4 children and spent most of his young life in Upper Darby, PA. He graduated high school from Monsignor Bonner and attended Drexel University for his bachelor's degree. Jack was a sales engineer for a few companies throughout his career, being tech support for protection software. He retired in 2014.
Jack was predeceased by his parents, sister-in-law Paula Healy and granddaughter Haley Joyce Powers.
He is survived by his three siblings, Lawrence Healy of Springfield, Joe Healy (Angela) of Texas, and Nancy Lamb (Bob) of Springfield, PA; four daughters Valerie (Mike) David of Mount Royal, NJ; Jaci (Rob) Zawatski of King of Prussia, PA; Karen (Glen) Powers of Lincoln University, PA; Kelly Healy (Chris) of Manayunk; and grandsons Harrison, Presley and Easton David; granddaughters Angelica and Gabriella Powers and Veronica Zawatski. Jack leaves behind many nieces, nephews, godchildren, and friends who he cared deeply for.
Friends and family are welcome to attend his visitation at St. Pius X Catholic Church from 9am to 10am Friday April 8, 2022. His Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10am in the church.
