John “Jack” Patrick Keefe, age 81, a resident of ElkinsCrest in Elkins Park, PA and formerly of Philadelphia, PA died on August 23, 2024.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, Jack was the son of the late John Patrick Keefe and the late Mary Ethel McCardle Keefe.
In 1960, Jack graduated from Bishop Neumann High School in Philadelphia. He attended the St. Dunstan’s University in Prince Edward Island, Canada.
He is survived by his nephews and their spouses: Daniel Keefe (Denise), David Keefe (Colleen), Darren Keefe (Sarah), Dianne Krol (Joseph), Deborah Murawski (Stephen), Constance Mabli (James). and Brendan Lynch. Jack was great-uncle to 20 nieces and nephews and a great-great-uncle to two nieces. He had a special love for all his many relatives that reside in North America, but specifically his Canadian ancestors. He was preceded in death by his wife Pearl Hoffman, his sisters, Constance Keefe and Angela Lynch, and his brothers, Daniel Keefe and Robert Keefe.
Family and friends are invited to attend his mass of christian burial 9:30am Tuesday September 24, 2024 at Our Lady Help of Christians, 1500 Marion Road, Abington, PA 19001, https://olhcabington.com/. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Bethesda Project, 1630 South Street, Philadelphia, PA 19146. bethesdaproject.org .
