Obituary

Kani Topalidis, beloved mother, grandmother, and wife, passed away peacefully in her home with her family at her side on October 19, 2022. She was born on August 15, 1929 to the late Sofia and Theodoros. She is survived by her sister Anastasia, and her three children, Lena, Theodore, and Michael. She was blessed with many grandchildren who she loved tremendously. Her family and friends take solace in knowing that she may now be reunited with her late husband, Chrisostomos.
Known by most as Yiayia Kani, she will forever be remembered for her strong-will, and loving demeanor.
Friends and family are welcomed to gather at her funeral on Tuesday October 25th at 10 am at Saint Demetrios Church in Upper Darby.  Interment Fernwood Cemetery, Lansdowne, PA. 19050.   
In lieu of sending flowers, we ask that you donate to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) or any charity of your choice.
