Kathleen J. Lawler

Kathleen J. Lawler (née Meade), 93, of Newtown Square,PA passed away peacefully on January 18, 2024.  Beloved wife of the late William (Bill). Loving mother of Kathleen (Kurt) of Downingtown, PA.  Dear sister of the late Betty (late Ed); late brother Thomas Meade (late Janet); survived by sister Marie (late Dan). She was Aunt Sis to her loving nieces and nephews.

Kathleen was a proud graduate of West Philadelphia Catholic High School for Girls, Class of 1949. Began her life-long drum and bugle corps hobby as a member of McCall VFW corps, met Bill during that time, and together they enjoyed years of devotion to the marching arts.  Her love of the Eagles began when, as a member of McCall, she marched at numerous NFL half time shows.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing at 9:30 am Thursday, January 25, 2024 at St. Anastasia Church, Newtown Square, PA, 19073.  Mass of Christian Burial will begin promptly at 10:30. Interment at Ss Peter & Paul Cemetery following the funeral mass. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 100 N. 20th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103
