Lambrini Stafilidis, of Broomall, PA, died on April 18, 2020 at the age of 86.
Lambrini, or Suzie, as her friends called her, was born on February 25, 1934, in Katerini, Greece.
Her parents, George and Vasiliki Kesanli, raised her and their children, Anika, Yiannis, Theodoros, Zaharias, and Kostandina, in Greece.
In June of 1956, Lambrini married Angelos Stafilidis, and the couple had two daughters. Her skills as an accomplished seamstress opened the door to passage to the United States.
On February 14, 1969, the journey brought Lambrini, Angelos, and their two daughters to Pennsylvania, where the couple settled, had another daughter, and ultimately gained citizenship.
Lambrini will be loved and missed by friends and surviving daughters Litsa Stafilidis, Vicky Toboulidis, Dimitra Stafilidis; beloved sons-in-law, Nick Toboulidis and Brian Crawford; and grandchildren Alexandra Toboulidis and Angelo, Ava, and Christian Crawford.
She is preceded in death in 2002 by her beloved husband, Angelos; their spirits and souls finally united again.
At the family’s request, no public service will be held at this time, and burial will be with the attendance of family only.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her name to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org.
