Lefteri Lico

April 3, 1932 - May 22, 2024

Lefteri Lico, a beloved member of our community, passed away on May 22, 2024, at the age of 92. Born on April 3, 1932 in Permet, Albania, she was the daughter of Thoma and Aleksandra Prifti

She was married to her loving husband Jorgaq for many cherished years until his passing in 2021. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter. 

Lefteri loved God and used her spirituality to connect with everyone and make them feel welcome and valued. Her passion for gardening and flowers brought joy to her life and beauty to the world around her.

She is survived by her children: Dodona, Viron, Eleni, Artur, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly.

Predeceased by her siblings Thanas, Kristaq, Margarita, Natalia, Viktor, and Ferdinand, Lefteri will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Her legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will live on in our hearts. 

Rest in peace, dear Lefteri. Your memory will be cherished forever.

Friends and family are welcome to attend her viewing form 10am to 11am , Tuesday, 5-28-2024, at St. John Chrysostom Albanian Orthodox Church, 237 N. 17th St. Philadelphia, Pa 19103.  Her funeral service will take place at 11am in the church.  Interment to follow in Fernwood Cemetery.
