Margush Poghosova

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Margush Poghosova on September 3, 2024, at the age of 93.  She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend whose kindness, generosity, and love touched all who knew her. She personified determination and perseverance by raising 4 children on her own after losing her husband at age of thirty.  She will be remembered for her unwavering love of her family and her bright spirit and her dedication to her Armenian community.

She was the beloved wife of the late Grigor Ohanian, loving mother of Melanya (Gagik), Romert (Gohar), Diana (Grigor), and Ruzanna (the late Khachik).  Devoted grandmother of Aram, Gohar, Vahe, David, Nushik, and Gevorg. And great-grandmother of 7. 

Due to the restoration efforts at St. Sahag & St. Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church, friends and family are welcome to attend her viewing from 10am to 11am Wednesday, Sep. 11, 2024, at St. Marks Armenian Catholic Church, 400 Haverford Rd, Wynnewood, Pa 19096.  Her funeral service will be 11am in the church.  Her interment will follow the funeral service at Arlington cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Sahag and St. Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church.
