Maria Koutsoutis

Maria Koutsoutis (née Mavridis), aged 55, of Broomall, PA, passed away on March 11, 2024, following complications from an AVM brain aneurysm. Born in Xanthi, Greece, Maria immigrated to the United States during her childhood, eventually graduating from Upper Darby High School. She furthered her education at Temple University, where she earned degrees in Marketing and Finance. Maria dedicated 32 years of her career to Vanguard, where she excelled in various roles, notably as a project manager in her final decade with the company. Her work was characterized by her boundless energy, deep expertise, and unwavering dedication.

Maria is survived by her cherished husband of 30 years, Tommy; her adored children, Irene and Dean; and her devoted parents, Kosta and Alexandra Mavridis. Renowned for her vivacity and generosity, Maria's absence will be deeply felt by her family, friends, and the broader community, especially within the Greek cultural circles she held dear. Maria had a strong faith and trust in God.  Maria took immense pride in her role as a mother, celebrating the achievements of her children with joy and unconditional support. Her capacity for empathy made her a confidante to many, always ready to listen and share a moment of laughter or dance.

A service to honor Maria's life will be held at St. Luke Greek Orthodox Church, 35 N. Malin Road, Broomall, PA 19008, on Monday, March 18, 2024. The visitation will take place from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, immediately followed by the funeral service. Maria will be laid to rest at Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Luke Greek Orthodox Church. Arrangements are entrusted to Vraim Funeral Home (www.vraimfh.com).

Maria's legacy is one of love, laughter, and the profound impact she had on those around her. Her presence will be sorely missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
