Mom passed away on Monday, August 19th, the day before her 95th Birthday.
Mom is survived by her children Peggy (William), George, Lynn, Nicholas (Barbara), Alexander, Theodora; her amazing grandchildren, Maria (Phillip), Tedy (Allison), Theo (Corinne), Niko (Michelle), Fara, Alexander (Jacqueline), Austin (Lori), Nicole, Iakovos, Theodore, Cleo, Christopher and her precious great grandchildren, Vincent, Nicholas, Laila, Mia, Delaney, Aubrey, Peter, PJ, Cooper, Anthony, Sammy, Ava, Lia.
The day before she died, Mom wanted to be sure she could remember the names of her grandchildren and great grandchildren (25 in total) just in case someone asked her because she didn’t want to leave anyone out! She loved her family so very, very much and was extremely proud of each and every one of them.
Mom is also survived by her older brothers, John and Peter, and nephews, Peter and Dean.
An avid sports fan, she loved baseball, football, golf, and tennis. Whatever sport was in season, she could recite the stats in great detail. She also loved playing card and board games and was extremely competitive.
Mom retired at age 80. For over 60 years, she was a highly sought after, highly skilled, intelligent bookkeeper.
She woke up every morning with a smile on her face, regardless of what the world was tossing her way. She truly walked by faith and not by sight.
Friends and family are welcome to attend her viewing from 10am to 11am, Thursday, at St. Luke Greek Orthodox Church, 35 N. Malin Rd, Broomall, Pa 19008. Her funeral Service will follow at 11am. Her interment will be private.
