Mary Louise (Prudente) Mouratidis

It is with deepest sorrow we announce the passing of Mary Louise "MaryLou" Mouratidis (Prudente), who passed away on April 19 at age 82, after a long and fulfilled life. Born in Bryn Mawr on August 14, 1943 to John and Lillian Prudente with an older sister Bonnie, she was also lovingly raised by their stepfather Joseph Harze, who with their mom gave Marylou and Bonnie stability and a shared love for Cape May and the Jersey shore. 

MaryLou grew up close to the shore, working her way up from waitressing to going back to the city for Bell Telephone. She met her future husband, "Kimo," and took a chance! Together they grew a successful pizza business in West Philly, making lasting memories with the community for decades before retiring. 

MaryLou passed quietly with her 4 children present at her bedside, honoring her legacy. She is lovingly remembered by her 3 sons and 1 daughter, John, Steven, Louis, and Anastasia; her grandson Cameron, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and everyone whom her work brought her to and who we brought to her. Now she returns to her family in heaven. 

Family and friends are invited to view from 10-11am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish - St Luke Roman Catholic Church, 55 Warwick Rd, Stratford, NJ 08084.  Her mass will begin promptly at 11am.  The family will host a luncheon following her mass.. MaryLou's burial will be held privately at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations in MaryLou's name be made to the church. https://www.guadalupeshrinenj.org/
