Michael S. Travlos was born in Upper Darby, PA on May 29, 1967, to Elli (Simotas) and Sotirios Travlos. His father was a chef and his mother a nurse, both from the beautiful island of Cephalonia, Greece. Michael passed away of a sudden heart attack in his home on March 4, 2021 at the age of 53. Michael was predeceased by his mother and father. Michael is survived by his sister and spouse, Chrisann and Jose Garcia, brother and spouse George and Diane Travlos, Godmother Helen Diakatos and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Michael attended Upper Darby High School and graduated in 1985. He furthered his education at Widener University and Delaware County Community College. He pursued careers in Insurance and Auto Sales.
As a young boy Michael was charming and fun-loving. His passions included gardening, cooking, and travelling to Europe. He appreciated art and music and studied art history in college. He accomplished his goal of visiting the Vatican museums. He also loved sports (Eagles and Phillies) and his pets. His favorite group was the Beatles.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Vraim Funeral Home, 66 South State Road, Upper Darby, PA. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, Michael’s family would appreciate donations to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 229 Powell Lane, Upper Darby, PA 19082.
