It is with great sadness that the family of Miltiadis (Milto) Saritsoglou announce his passing on July 23rd, 2023. Our beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, brother-in-law and friend has left us too soon.
Born to parents Konstantinos Saritsoglou, of Katerini Greece, and Irini Papadopoulou, of Elassona Greece. His story began on December 7th 1979, born in Vorhees NJ and raised his whole life in Upper Darby and was the youngest of three children.
Milto had a great love for his family, faith and his Greek heritage. He was a caring soul and had compassion for people in need. He was always doing what he could to help them and touched so many lives. He had a playful nature and a great sense of humor, always quick with a joke or witty comment. He had a love of old things and a real eye for collectibles and vintage pieces. He had a creative mind and could repurpose antiquated items and bring new life to them.
While the grief of this loss is immeasurable, he will never ever be forgotten.
He is preceded by his father Konstantinos Saritsoglou of Katerini Greece and survived by his mother Irini Saritsoglou of Elassona Greece, brother Haralampus (wife Christina) Saritsoglou, sister Kiriaki (husband Pascal Pecheux), niece Chloe, nephew Daniel, aunts, uncle and cousins here in Pennsylvania, as well as in Greece and Germany.
Friends and family are welcome to join us to honor Milto’s life journey. The visitation is scheduled from 10am to 11 am, Friday, August 4th, 2023, at Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 229 Powell Lane, Upper Darby PA 19082. His funeral service will commence at 11 am in the church, and he will be laid to rest following the funeral service at Fernwood Cemetery.
