Nicholas Morris

Age 90 died at his home on September 28, 2021.  He was the loving husband of Effie (Vasiliades); adoring father of Sophia (John) Engelbrecht and his beloved son John who preceded him in death. Also survived by his daughter-in-law Pam.  

Nicholas cherished his 3 granddaughters: Nicole (Anthony) Nowery, Christie Zonetti and Mandy Morris and 2 great grandchildren Viviana and Anthony.

Nicholas served his country a Staff Sergeant in the Army and played battalion baseball.  He attended and graduated from the University of Penn (Wharton School) which led to a fulfilling management career with the Department of Labor.  He organized the first Boy Scout Troop for the Greek Orthodox Community in and around Philadelphia and was a member of St. Luke Greek Orthodox Church in Broomall.

He was a kind and grateful man who will be remembered for the deep unbounded love in his heart for his entire family.  He was an avid Phillies fan and proud to be a Greek American.

His services will be private.
