Olympia Georges, 88, died peacefully in her home on June 4, 2023. Olympia was the daughter of Savvas and Victoria Ketsetzoglou. She was the wife of the late Andrew James Georges who died in 2002. Olympia came to Media, PA from Greece in 1959 after her marriage to Andrew. She was a loving wife and homemaker.
She is survived by her 3 children. Sons James A. Georges (Lynne) and George A. Georges (Tina) and daughter Effie Stewart (Ken).
She has eight grandchildren; Steven Georges, Victoria Stefanias (John), Andrew Stewart, Jonathan Stewart, Christopher Georges and Sarah Georges, Kyveli Georges and Andreanna Georges. As well as one great grandson George Stefanias. The family would like to offer a sincere thank you to Dr. John Hobson and the medical staff at Mailn Line Health for the care they provided to Olympia.
Family and friends are invited to view from 10-11am Friday June 9, 2023 at St. Luke Greek Orthodox Church, 35 N. Malin Road, Broomall, PA 19008. Her funeral service will begin promptly at 11am. Interment to follow in Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA. 19026. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to St. Luke Greek Orthodox Church and Orthodox Christian Mission Center with donation information listed below.
