Rita R. Cocco

Rita R. Cocco "MomMom" (nee: Rosetti) of East Norriton, PA passed away peacefully at home the night of September 12, 2022.

She was born to the late Gabriel and Theresa Rosetti, October 16, 1929 in Philadelphia, PA. Rita shared a close bond with her brothers and sisters and predeceased her twin sister Jenny along with siblings; Michael, Connie, Rose, Vincent, and Anthony. She was a devoted wife to the love of her life, Frank Cocco, up to and after his passing. They started their family in South Philadelphia and eventually settled in East Norriton, PA.

She was a seamstress and worked in her husband's orthotic and prosthetic business. Along with being a homemaker, she was a terrific cook and baker. Rita enjoyed crocheting and received joy through smiles donating scarves, baby blankets, and handbags. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed her women’s league into her mid-80's.

Rita is preceeded in death by her oldest daughter, Angela Zumpano, and is survived by children; Carlo Cocco and his wife Karen of Phoenixville, PA; Rita Collazzo and her husband Lou of Deerfield Beach, FL; Gabriel Cocco of East Norriton, PA.  She is predeceased by her grandsons Vincent and Joseph and is survived by grandchildren Frank, John, Nicholas, Mark, Keith, Eric, Haley, Carson, and Emma along with great grandchildren Vincenzo, Rizzairio, and more.

Friends and family are welcome to attend her viewing on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at 10;30 a.m. followed by her funeral Mass at 12:00 p.m. at Saint Titus Church in East Norriton, PA 19403.  Her interment will be private.
