Rosette Alyanakian

Rosette Avakian Alyanakian, beloved mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on September 21, 2022.  Our hearts are broken as she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.  Rosette was born on September 11, 1932, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Aram and Aroussiak Avakian.  She was married to the late Leon J. Alyanakian, Jr.  Rosette was a loving and kind soul who was pure of heart.  She would light up a room simply by smiling.  She loved to laugh and coined the expression, "Isn't good to laugh, we don't laugh enough!"  She radiated positive energy that gave strenght to those who were weary.  A generous and humble woman who loved her family and friends.  She left the world a better place, inspiring all to be selfless and fulfilled.  She is survived by her daughter Trina (Ben) Hamalian, grandson, Ben and granddaughter Jessica.  She is also survived by her daughter, Lauri and granddaughters, Christina and Alicia, sister, Janet (John) Hamalian, nephews Levon and John and niece Patricia.

Family and friends are invited to call from 10-11am Thursday September 29, 2022 at St. Sahag and St. Mesrob Armenian Church, 630 Clothier Rd., Wynnewood, PA 19096.   Funeral service to begin promptly at 11.  Interment in  Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA 19026.
