Roxanne Kamilatos Obituary

Roxanne Kamilatos, age 95 of Naples Florida and formerly of Philadelphia, passed away suddenly on August 26, 2021.  She was born on February 15, 1926 to the late George and Blaga Glykeria Peters.

In addition to her parents, Roxanne was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony, of 56 years who passed in 2002; her sister Alice, her brother John. And her daughter Dina, whom she lost in 2006 to breast cancer.  Roxanne is survived by her children, Dennis, Anne, and Marion; grandchildren, Dina, Elena, Theo, Tony, Stefano and Antoni; great grandchildren, Athena, Sophia, Nikolas, Xander, and Dino; several nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Henri. 

She was very proud to be a Greek American Macedonian.  She attended West Philadelphia High School.  She had been to Greece countless times and lived in Kefalonia, her husband’s birthplace, for sometime. She also loved visiting France where she also had beloved family members. 

Friends and family are welcome to attend her viewing form 10am to 11am Thursday at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 229 Powell Rd, Upper Darby, Pa 19082.  Her funeral service will be at 11am in the church.  Interment will follow at Fernwood Cemetery.  The Mnimosio service will take place at St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church in N. Naples Florida.

May the lord God grant her eternal rest.  May her memory be eternal!
