Soleiman Edgarian

Soleiman (Souren) Edgarian, 100, of West Chester, PA died November 2, 2023. He was born and raised in Tehran, Iran. He was much more than a devoted, loving husband, father, grandfather & Armenian patriot! He will be remembered for the strong legacy of the family he leaves behind. He attended Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church in Wynnewood, PA. From a humble beginning Souren quickly became an expert medical equipment engineer. Family, friends & colleagues regularly praised his commitment to helping people, his work ethics, etc. He moved to the United States in 1992 to be with his 3 daughters & their families, especially his grandchildren, which he cared for throughout their young lives...

Souren will be remembered for his extremely positive attitude, forgiveness and gentle demeanor! He was devoted to his Armenian heritage & faith. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Asdghik Baghdasarian (2014) and all four of his siblings who he had a strong relationship with. He is survived by three daughters: Armineh Edgarian (Vahak Andoun), Adrineh Hoplamazian (Vaughn) & Anita Edgarian (Robert Sinton) and eight grandchildren: Sevada Andoun (Alina), Andre Andoun, Alex, Anna (Greg), Amy Hoplamazian, Sevan, Nina & Alena Sinton and three Great-grandchildren: Cameron, Mason & Olivia.

Friends & relatives are invited to attend his visitation from 10:00 to 11:a.m., Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church, 630 Clothier Ave., Wynnewood, PA.  His funeral service will take place at 11am in the hurch. His interment will follow in Arlington Cemetery, 2900 State Rd., Drexel Hill, PA.
