Vasiliki A. Ziavras, a loving mother and a friend passed away peacefully on October 10, 2023 at the age of 84. She was surrounded by her daughters.
Vasiliki was born on March 15, 1939 in Demati, Greece. At a young age of 16 in April 1957 she married Ahelefs Ziavras. In 1963, she and her husband moved to the United States to create opportunities for a better life. They had two daughters Eva Ziavras and Georgia Nikolos.
Vasiliki was a devoted wife and mother. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Vasiliki was a kind and compassionate person. She was always willing to help others. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. She loved to travel and enjoyed sports. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Vasiliki is survived by her two lovely daughters Eva and Georgia and her brother Triantafulos.
Services will be held on Wednesday, October 18th as follows:
St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 256 South 8th Street, Philadelphia, Pa 19107
Viewing - 10:00 am to 11:00 am Funeral Service will begin promptly at 11:00 am
Interment in Fernwood cemetery, Lansdowne, PA 19050.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memoriial contributions be made to the church in Vasiiki's name.
